ABOUT EVERETT LEWIS
Everett Lewis (Canadian, 1893-1979) was the husband of Nova Scotia artist Maud Lewis (Canadian, 1903-1970). Everett Lewis often assisted Maud Lewis in the preparation of boards and surface material for her paintings. Everett's own work, largely created after Maud's death in 1970, was typically based on or inspired by thematic motifs in her work.
