Sarah Jones, MA (Art History)
SENIOR SPECIALIST, FINE ART & LUXURY | CO-FOUNDER | ISA MEMBER
Sarah Jones (BA, MA Art History, Queen’s University) is an art historian, curator, and visual artist with extensive experience in contemporary and public-facing curatorial contexts. She teaches art history periodically at the University of New Brunswick Saint John and has received grant support for her studio practice from Canada Council for the Arts and ArtsNB.
Sarah is also a Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and trained in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). She specialises in insurance, estate, and donation appraisals for fine art and luxury assets, and advises clients on collection research and cataloguing standards.
Her academic research includes twentieth-century Canadian art and Atlantic Canadian folk art, bringing region-specific expertise to a segment with sustained collector demand. At Jones Auction House, she leads collection research, cataloguing, and curatorial direction across fine art and luxury categories.
